Too many people, especially young people, are so busy on their cell phones, i-Pods, etc., that they don't enjoy their surroundings. To use an old saying, they need to "take time to smell the roses". It's wonderful to take the time to look and see all the good things around us. And to hear the wonderful sounds.
There may come a time when these people may not be able to see or hear and they won't have memories of all the wonderful sights and sounds that were around them.
