I still have many photos of my trip out west in February of this year waiting to be PP. This was my first morning in the park and the sky and low cloud layer were exceptional.
.

Very nice. I am going there in three weeks for the first time. What lens did you use for these and did you have a favorite spot to shoot from when you were there?

Thanks Bamboo. I used my 24-70 F2.8. There are several locations to take photos of Mt Moran but my favorite is at Oxbow Bend. Grand Teton Peak and the Tetons I use Glacier Turnout Overlook but you can take them from many locations. Here are a few links that will help you get started. Get to your spot early as somedays Oxbow bend is wall to wall photographers all wanting the choice spots. The Barns and Schwabacher's Landing are a must shoot. Feel free to PM me if you need any other info.

Lovely shots--never been there with snow cover. Are the bison still hanging out in the area?

Absolutely beautiful, John. Great scenery and a colorful sunrise aren't worth much if they're not composed well. You did. Breathtaking.
