The beach at Wells, Maine has several rocky sections, through which the receding tide carves beautiful channels in the sand, different each day. Taken at sunrise, mid July.

My father used to take pictures of things I couldn't see. When the film came back, I could see what he saw. That's a very nice picture.

Thanks so much, Linda! It's indeed very lovely on the beach early in the morning (think coffee, cool breezes, beautiful walking), and it's become a niche of mine when I go there to find these compositions.

That is a super photo. I love the play of the light and shadows. Blow it up and hang it somewhere.
