Hacking a Car

All the electronic features of new cars are nice, but not when they allow hackers to take complete control of the car.

That is troublesome and potentially dangerous ......especially now that all the hackers have been given all the info they need to do that ! :roll:

Maybe we need to go back to the autos of the 50's. Little if any electronics to hack. Might be safer in the long run.

First thing, in the example they used a jeep. (Jeep and junk are synonymous in my opinion.)

Seems like a simple solution would be to put a security code in the system. Something like WEP(sp?) on most wifi setups at home.
