Viewscreen problem

I shoot a Sony A77v with the articulating viewscreen hanging from a Sunsnyper strap. Before I realized it, I had rubbed a lot of the non glare surface from the glass part of the viewscreen making it's use difficult. Is there anything short of having it replaced that I can do to restore the non-glare status. Yea I know, next time I'll keep the metal side out.
