Did you all get your FREE ice cream today? We stopped at Kohler Farms and got ours! It's soooo HOT we can hardly breathe, so it was a perfect day for ice cream! :)

I already had some ice cream bars in the freezer, so I celebrated with a couple of them. It's hot here too.

Hot here too, Sue, no ice cream but have been eating frozen berries. Glad you enjoyed your ice cream!

I didn't know it was N I C D, but last night I sent my son out to buy two half gallons. We'll finish them tonight.

I developed late-in-life lactose intolerance a few years ago. Ice cream made my stomach go crazy. Then the good people at Lactaid came out with five flavors of lactose-free ice cream, in quarts only. A small blessing, granted, but still a blessing. I've been drinking their lactose-free milk for years.

I too had lactose intolerance and drank Lactaid milk for years but just grew out of it, I guess. Good luck, hope you do too. One bad thing...you have to get older. :)

Those of us in Blue Bell country don't recognize this as ice cream day. Right now you can't get Blue Bell, and if you can't get Blue Bell you just don't have "any" ice cream.
