I think fire departments should hire sharpshooters to accompany them to fires.

Me too. Any idiot can buy a drone and most of them think they know what they're doing ... which they don't.

Recently while watching the zebra's near the Hearst Castle in Cambria, CA, some jerk with a drone scared the herd away. There was a small crowd watching and photographing the zebra, but this guy with his drone chased them all away. I usually hate new laws, but something needs to be done to regulate these drones.

Guns kill people. Drones kill people. Cars kill people. Food kills people. We need laws to regulate and ban all those things!

Oh wait! We already have laws. And, properly used all are beneficial. Maybe we need to ban stupid people or regulate them.

Drones aren't well regulated today but these clowns seem to have no common sense which of course will lead to more laws and regulations than you can shake a stick at.

You can't fly them in any national park or monument as well as many State parks and monuments. You can't fly them higher than 400 feet above the ground. You can't fly them within 5 miles of an airport. In most places you can't fly them above private property without permission. You can't legally collect money for any activity involving one. You can't legally fly them out of direct line of sight. Technology limits them to 10 to 20 minutes flying time.

What more regulation would you suggest? And how will you enforce the regulations already in place that have been violated in most of the horror stories we read about?
