Olympus Shooters and Wannabe shooters.
Don't know whether this will stick, but I am a long time Olympus shooter (1972 til now) Digital from 2003. Sprinkling of other brands in there, Always back to Oly.
When you sign up on the site for specials and other info, you are sent regular Oly user pics, including info/history on each pic. Albums are kept by month. Received this pic today along with a ton of others, segregated by camera categories.
Some incredible photos, and since Oly is one of the only manufacturers that sell their camera's direct to the public... many specials.
I've been lucky enough to have a few of photos posted there before...I just wonder how many submittals they get in a month. Agree with the specials and factory refurbs.
Very nice. Wonderful that your photos ( love the elk lazing on the beach) made the cut! I'm sure you'll have many admirers as a result.

Oh, don't get me wrong... Can't take credit for the two pics on the site. Those are user pics from someone else.
I'm just pointing out that Olympus offers this information as an exhibit for their users and camera's. The unique part of Olympus is that they sell direct and they advertise specials (Often very good ones... They are currently offering $200 off the Olympus EM5 MkII) The keep registered user informed of specials.
The also have a refurb page.

I have a weakness for animals acting like humans (its a 'Gary Larson' wannabe complex). I wish ( on a long wish list) that Olympus sent reps out to camera stores like Canon and Nikon does, but, I will add that their e-mails are full of 'min-lessons' and suggestions for shooting with their line of cameras plus they feature photographers- amateurs and professionals using their cameras. I agree, their specials are often very good and for the patient buyer, even new cameras and lenses (like the Oly EM5 MkII) will be advertised as a sale product not long after their introduction to the market.

Thank you, and case in point. They are just finalizing a sale event with !substantial! savings off both the E-M1 and the newest E-M5 MkII. Better prices new, than refurb or excellent used.

My first camera was an Olympus. Bought it when I was in high school, in 1955. Still have it. Of course, it's retired now, just like I am.
