Library of Congress Building

We were in Washington DC for a competition my daughter was in during the 3rd week in June. Darn it was hot...and humid too! We were 2 years ago during the winter time, so this was quite a change. We made it it to a few things we wanted to see again and then saw quite a few things that we had missed the first time.
The architecture inside the Library of Congress is amazing. My shots don't do this place justice. Please see below for 6 of my shots.

Thank you for posting your great photos. The Library of Congress building is a gem often overlooked by tourists - definitely one of the most awesome buildings in the US!

For sure SB, I completely agree. We really do have some beautiful architecture in spite of all of our track developments and Mcmansions. :) :)
