9 shot Milky Way at Mt Rainier

Went up to Sunrise in Mt Rainier National Park last night and into the wee wee hours of the morning to get the Milky Way over the mountain. The little white dots on the mountain are the lights from the climbers going up or down the mountain!

Thanks! I am still in training with a friend who does a lot of night photography! He has taught me a lot! I do loose a lot of sleep though!

Thanks! I was in awe of all the stars we could see! A bonus was when I got to see Saturn's Rings through a telescope that some folks were using up where we were shooting!

Very good- I hope to get something simulacra soon. July 24-25-26 fifteen members of our local group are going up to the crest of the Sierras ( Carson Pass & Kirkwood Ski area) on a night photo shoot - the Valley/flat paved areas we will be photoing from are at 8'000 ft with the mountains rising "QUICKLY" to 10-12,000 ft for back grounds such as yours.
