Does anyone have experience with a bridge camera and a CPF? Is that even possible with an electronic viewfinder?
I know you can get them for the Canon Bridge cameras with EVF. Is your question whether you should use a linear filter or a circular one? I just viewed a few youtube videos on CPFs today and they say you must use a CPF with a DSLR because of the mirror, but that you can use either a linear or a circular one with a mirrorless camera. Does this help? Good luck.
I'm wondering if you can SEE the effect in the viewfinder like you can in a DSLR.

Don't know anything about the Nikon you mention, but the effects are definitely visible in the EVF of the SX40 & SX50 from Canon!! Works VERY well.
Thank you. Then it should work on the P900. (still waiting for the backorder).
