Meade 8" w/AVX Mount in Prime Focus.
I was having a little trouble with tracking for longer exposures.
So I shot this one at 19 sec, ISO 400, f/9.5

Thank you very much Jim H. It was fun to have some clear skies.

I certainly haven't been having clear skies lately myself.

Beautiful, Craig!

How did you "add stars"? With the histogram adjustment?

Finding these Nebula makes me wonder "What happened here?"

Hey Sonny, thank you very much. In Lightroom I adjusted the Exposure & Contrast up, the Black down and Sharpened with Clarity some.

PS: I wish I knew how to use Photoshop Layers.

Nice shots Craig.
When I found it in the eyepiece I thought it looked a lot like one of the ancient gods blew a smoke ring.
Not much color until you pull it up on the screen.
Well done.

Hi Craig,

Nice to see the extra stars in the second image. I succeeds in bringing out two stars in the center. One is the original star that blew off this nebula. And the other is one that just happens to be in the line of sight and is shining through.

I am including a shot I did with my Orion Astrograph (8" and 800mm FL). This shot was for 10 sec at ISO3200. I can tell I am at a somewhat shorted FL than you were at. But I can see the same two inner stars if I blow it up.
