First - the good news - all 3 chicks seem to be doing fine, even "The Runt". I was so relieved to see all 3 today. Last Thursday it was pouring rain and only mom & 1 chick were visible. When I first drove past the nest today, all 3 chicks were standing up rather high. It looked as though mom had just fed them. There were scraps of what appeared to be fish on the nest. By the time I managed to turn around and get back to the right angle to get the shots, only 2 chicks were visible - and only very low in the nest. Persistent person that I am, I left for a while and came back - low and behold - all 3 heads were up!
Now for the bad news - it was extremely overcast and the lighting was not the best. I only managed to get a few half-decent shots to post.
Please enjoy them.
EDIT: I should have added that they were cropped and lightened just a little. Other than that - SOOC. Shot with my D5200 and Tamron 150-600.
Here they all are!
Please note they got photo-bombed by a fly!
That's the runt on the left. Mom's favorite is the one on the right.
Runt & sibling side by side.
Another view of the runt & mom's favorite.
I'm not sure who this ham is!
And let us not forget proud, and forever watchful Papa!
Wow, love the 1st two shots & the 4th! Ok, you keep adding as I am editing my post.
Very good shots indeed! :)
Good news and Great Pictures

Thanks, Stephie. I should probably put in my post how many photos are going up for the topic in question! Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Consistency seems to be a virtue I'm lacking when it comes to osprey photos!

Thanks Larry. I really need some after finding out what happened to George & Gracie's 3rd chick out on Long Island. (Ospreyzone.com - live feed.)
Another nice Osprey series... keep them coming...

Nice Mike!! Love to see them. Well done with what Mother Nature gave you !!
Lovely series, MM. Amazing how attached we grow to our subjects, isn't it :) Such a thrill to see their progress.

Hello. Lovely shots. I'm dreaming of that Tamron lens. Do you like it? How long have you had it? Can you hand hold it or do you always need a tripod?
Thanks
Love that side by side shot!
