Too much Photoshop?

I think, I am doing too much photoshop.

Obviously you posted this pic, because you "kinda" like it, and I have to agree, it is a nice image and without the post processing it wouldn't show half as much. There is only too much Photoshop, if it goes behind the point were you don't like it anymore. If the results please you, than you used Photoshop at just the right amout (other people might dislike it, but that's other people). It has to be you that is pleased by the end result - and that's it!

You are right on. I do like this pict more after edit. Thanks for your advice.

Right now, I am thinking of taking out the blue shift and dodging in the cloud area. May be that will make it more subtle and more realistic.

For me, it's because your lighting doesn't match. The sky is so cool but the people are warm.

You need to find a way to cool off the people while accounting for the candle light that would be coming from below.

And, if I may offer two tricks that help -
- make your image as large as possible, then step back three or more feet, and look at it again,
- and or, make your image as large as possible, then turn it upside down and look at it again.
