Well, with the holiday weekend, I finally managed to put the finishing touches to porting a panoramic program to my mac. So, gave this a try and it worked.
Originally used for stitching scanned film images on a Linux box, then ported to a Windoze machine, and now ported to my Mac. I'm pretty happy with it, not only running - though with a small glitch, but it seems pretty good at doing what it is supposed to. I'll debug the glitch later.
Yes, it is letterbox format. I didn't have the Kiwi Pano head that I now use. Instead, I used some photos I took back in 2010, when I ported this to Windoze. They were convenient and worked well.
I'll have to try it with scanned black and white film images next.

Wow, not only do you have photographic skills but programming too. To get software to work on three different OS platforms is impressive.

romanticf16, Thanks for the compliments.
Yes, it's slightly crazy, but if one has the time, and is left alone to use it, things happen.
Fortunately, having a bit of a computer background was benificial when digital cameras came into their own.

Excellent pano.
Thanks, Jim. There was more behind the scenes work that went into that then just taking the 5 photographs.

Your technical skills paid off in a gorgeous photo. It is clear, and yet has an arty feel to it, which is interesting to me because the subject is a man-made, industrial object, framed by two undistinguished (my bias), modern buildings. I like that this pano gives the viewer the opportunity to see the repetition created by the falling water. Kudos!
Nice panorama. It's interesting to see this much water in the desert.

greymule, DAVE FISHING, and gemlenz, thanks for the thumbs up. More work was put into the software than the photos. I do appreciate your taking a look.
