i would like to know how to transfer images from the memorycard to the i-pad and incorporate lightroom ,photoshopcc, photomatix pro-5 into i-pad especially the apple i-pad and editing and transporting images from the i=pad itself.that will make it easy to carry the i-pad with you instead of the rather heavy laptop while traveling.the apple is not interested in doing that.they want the adobe to that.but adobe is not that interested either and they want the apple to do it. so the customer is caught between the hard and the rock place.i do not know what the solution is.i hope that my concern is relevant, joseph

At the Apple app store there is a free app calls Fotor. There are lots of fonts and with a little practice it is easy to use. I use it for my signature. I hope this helps you.

Try Titlefx. I think this would work for you.

apple sells a memory card reader that reads sd and
compact flash cards into your i pad. do NOT use
any other supplier- apple has made it very difficult
to get decent results for attachment from much
cheaper supplier. i have used apple card this for
years it works fine. for captions try pic collage, a free
apple app. good luck

$29 buys you both sd card and usb inputs to iPad. I have used both for years, and they are terrific. See below:

Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit
$29
Free Shipping

With the iPad Camera Connection Kit, it's incredibly easy to download photos and videos from your digital camera to your iPad so you can view them on the gorgeous iPad display and share them with family and friends.
The kit includes two connectors, each with a different interface:
The Camera Connector features a USB interface. Just plug it into the dock connector port on your iPad, then attach your digital camera or iPhone using a USB cable (not included). iPhone 3G is not supported.
Use the SD Card Reader to import photos and videos directly from your camera's SD card. Connect it to your iPad, then insert your digital camera's SD card into the slot.
After you make the connection, your iPad automatically opens the Photos app, which lets you choose which photos and videos to import, then organizes them into albums. When you sync iPad to your PC or Mac, the photos and videos on your iPad are added to your computer's photo library.

Tech Specs
iPad and the Camera Connection Kit support standard photo formats, including JPEG and RAW, along with SD and HD video formats, including H.264 and MPEG-4.
