Day 87 - Photo A Day Challenge - 3-27-2012

Welcome to Day 87 :) Rather than everybody photographing the same thing ... today I thought we would take a personal day of sorts and photograph anything that inspires
us to capture the moment. The only requirement is to actually Take the Photo Today. ( Today meaning in the last 24 hours)
I never know from one day to the next what I will be photographing. Having a day like today will allow us all to do some freestyle photography.
I look forward to seeing your photographic inspirations.

well...it's almost 1:00am but I thought I would get a head start...these shots were taken today ...oops...well now it's yesterday but in the past 24 hours...of the pretty flowers my daughter in law gave me for my birthday!

That honey bee photo is so sharp you can see the pollen sacs on his legs!! Wow!! Thats quite a shot! Nice capture!

What inspires me daily is nature's creatures.Anything flying or moving around outside my windows is prey for my camera. This morning this Grey Squirrel caught my eye foraging on the ground under a bird feeder in Bird Alley.
Another of nature's little creatures breakfasting just outside of my window in this second picture is a little male Downy Wodpecker.

I hope you feel better after a nice long rest. I LOVE that first picture of wood and metal...a wheel perhaps?
Also really like that first cactus flower for its beautiful pink and green...one of my fav combos..AND the thorns..just love it.
AND I love todays challenge...
