Thank you for the suggestion, Pat. When I adjusted the tint, some blue tints popped up out of nowhere in the dark foreground. The only way I could eliminate them was to darken the red, which put me back where I started. So I'll leave them there. What do you think? Whoa! I just checked the attachment, which didn't have those blues! Apparently there are losses in the transfer from my file into the transmission chain.

I just replied and it flew out of my machine! I really do like this, RichardQ and best of all I appreciate your eagerness to try new things. I love what you post and the stories that go with it.

Thank you so much, Pat. I'm happy to tinker with my own stuff and welcome suggestions. When I had my own little darkroom, I created all sorts of solarizations and double-exposures for the fun of it, but as a professional I never had enough time for that. Now I have a computer and can go back to tinkering -- but without the chemical trays, the water baths, and the dryer.

and without that characteristic dark room chemical smell. :)
