It is beautiful in Leavenworth and Plain area. There is also Icicle creek and the Wenatchee river - great for white water pictures.
Leavenworth is a bavarian style town. Having their October fest next two weekends.

Incredibly gorgeous! I especially like the first and third pictures, so radiant in all their glory of color. Fall is my utmost favorite time of year.

The first photo is a good example of "Chaos in Nature". A state of utter confusion or disorder. Repeating shapes but not patterns; order without organization. Impression of infinity, allowing one to see through the leaves; giving the viewer the feeling that chaos continues beyond the frame of the photo. Vibrant color and textures are the strongest component of the photo. Nicely done.

OK I am really homesick now for Washington State. I lived in both Bremerton (2 years) and Everett (2 years), both on the Puget Sound side of the state.. Our beautiful country has so much to offer.... I've lived in or visited all but 4 states over the years and each has its own special beauty. Ty for posting the pictures...you do great work.

This are very nice picture's. All remind me of the time's I've travelled to the northern Wisconsin area. Not really looking for fall colour. But it seemed that was the time of year the family would do it's vacation. I'm not sure if it would help or not since I wasn't there then the second picture was taken. Perhaps if a polariser filter was used it would help bring a bit more of the tree colour in the water.
