Thank you Sonny. I don't believe in cut and paste so I have to live with
Venus being blown out to get the Moons.
Unless someone knows a different way to do it???

ND filter?

Might not even have to worry about the neutral part :-)
if you convert to B&W
:-D

Or you do try the old hat trick.
Block the portion of sky with Venus with you hat for a portion of the exposure.
Being extra careful not to hold it too still.
That way you'll introduce a feathering to the mask :-)
(BTW - it doesn't have to be a hat, a piece of black cardstock works great)
They are still very close, so you have a couple more chances to try and get it in camera!

That sounds like a good idea.

It's going to rain tonight.

I doubt we'll get rain, but we have plenty of clouds - and HEAT :-/

We do have a decent chance of thunder storms this afternoon...
:-)

Sorry you're clouded in :-(

Well, I kinda like Venus blown out. Radiating spikes of thingamajiggers on her.
The 4 moons of Jupiter came out great.

I've been experimenting with the SS Video camera today.
My telescope got 26" long with extensions and Barlow lenses.
I might try again if the crud clears out. But from a different place.
June Gloom dragging into July... :hunf:
