I seemed to have missed a whole bunch of them last time around and this completes the series. Looks better in the Download.
Wow they are amazing. Are they going to be a permanent display. My daughter is heading to NY in August?

I'm pretty sure they are permanent. Glad you enjoyed them.
Wonderful shots Hershel! Love those fabulous statues! You live in such a lively interesting place. So different from the sleepy little town I live in. Looking at your captures is always a mini vacation for me!

Hershel, these statues are from Grounds for Sculpture here in Hamilton, NJ. The statues of Marilyn Monroe and the sailor kissing the nurse at the end of WW2 have been around the world being displayed. This is a great place to visit. Our community has statues all over being displayed particularly near the railroad station. There is one in front of a hardware store of a man helping a small boy learn to ride his bike. As many times as I've seen it passing by I still for a minute think it is real! Keep posting us on your lunchtime strolls.

Bob,
Thanks for the encouragement and the background info. The statues are beautiful and it's a pleasure to walk amongst them and see how they almost seamlessly blend in with their surroundings. Well, all except for the Marilyn Monroe figure, she is definitely a standout :)

She will take photos of her travels, but otherwise, no she is not really into photography as such.

Well let me know when she comes and if she visits B&H she may just come home a full fledged photographer :)
