GAS Attack

Just pulled the trigger on what will probably be my last GAS attack for quite awhile. Ordered the Tamron 150-600 in Sony Alpha mount & LowePro Flipside 500 to haul it. My wife has been hogging my HX400 for the last couple of weeks so, I need something with a little more reach. It should arrive at my store Thursday. Come on brown truck.

I had a GAS attack while attending some classes at my local camera store. They had vendors there. I bought a transmitter to use with my Speedlight flash and Canon 60D. Also traded in my Sigma 150-500 lens for a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens. Had bought the 150-500 in January and used it only a couple of times.
My next GAS attack will be to get a macro lens.
Have been buying photography stuff now while I have the money. Once I get another collie, and start showing again, I'll be spending money on entries, hotels, food and gas (a different kind of gas) and won't have money to spend on photo stuff.

I can come up with several words for the letters GAS, but was wondering what it stands for. I must have it if it concerns photographic equipment!!

GAS = Gear Acquisition Syndrome.

Big brown truck dropped off 2 boxes from B&H this afternoon. Unfortunately, it will be Sunday before I get to play with my new toy. GAS attack relieved. . . for now.
