A number of somewhat unusual photos depicting life in Israel. Some are taken in Jerusalem, a city in which you will see more ethnic groups than you knew existed!
Great Pics...Powerful commentary.
There are a few truths in the vast world of Mankind. One is diversity. The challenge, as ever, is to accept our differences. To celebrate them, now there is the real challenge!
Just to clarify ... these are wonderful photos but I did not take them ... they were sent to me by a friend.

I'm going to Israel next June for two weeks on vacation (with a tour group). We will have to buy about 1/3 of our meals. Generally, I have a steel stomach, but am wondering if the street food is safe or would I be better off going to established restaurants? When I went to Honduras with my church a few years back, I stopped at a local food court and saved probably 75% over what the hotel or fast food joint would charge. I plan to take about a zillion pics (but use my new bridge instead of DSLR due to baggage limits)

Just read the last post...I thought you were there and had firsthand knowledge of the region.
