Hibiscus flower in transition

As the light and warmth of the sun stirred the Hibiscus bud to open, I caught this bloom about half way from bud to open flower. I really like the shape. Please try the download.

Canon T2i, canon 400mm 5.6 L Lens, M mode, f/5.6, 1/500, ISO200

Very nice shot. You have captured the softness of the bud while maintaining the details and color. Only the bud is in focus. Beautiful shot. The download tells all. Really strikes my fancy if you know what I mean. Keep up the great work, have fun, and have a GREAT DAY

I agree with Jim Carter..... Elegant! I like the subtle heart at the end of the bloom!
