Quite right. We visited old friends from NYC who now live near Dallas. We did a 10-day drive around. We had a great time. Great food. Met some wonderful people. Left before the rain storms.

The one thing I took away from Texas was the courtesy and kindness of the people. One more when on our trip we met up with friends of our friends. Twice we had dinner with them. Once at a restaurant and the other at one of their homes. I thoroughly enjoyed everyone holding hands before eating and someone saying a prayer.
