Thanks Folks... :) I did notice I seemed to be the only one interested in this perspective.. Most people take shots looking down the length of the pier, but this is where the clouds were... :)

Think I saw a photo of that lighthouse completely encased in ice. Your shot is much more inviting.

Great shot! They have begun the restoration on the St. Joe lighthouse this past week. Good views of it will be limited with all the construction equipment around it. The past 2 years of harsh winter really took a toll on the outer lighthouse. The ice coating was picturesque, but the weight damaged the railings around it. I enjoy going out on the piers during my lunch hour, but only the south pier will be accessible this summer.

There are some great ice shots of this place.. The original reason I wanted to go there was for the ice, but there will be more winters... :)

... :) Actually they were working on the pier a bit already to the right of my shot... Orange fence and all... :) I think the best shots are from the south pier anyway...
