Much better environment this week-end. I'm in Ashland, Oregon which is a few miles from the Oregon-California border. For those who care: the Oregon Shakespeare Festival is here, and between plays, I've been practicing macro. Had some great conversations with folks curious about my "rig". Here are a few from today.

Thank you. I found an exoskeleton yesterday. They are humming like high voltage electrical wires. This was the first I saw at ground level.
Beautiful shots Allen and beautiful colours. Hard to choose a favourite so I have chosen the bee on the flower just because I love bees.

Nice series! Im particularly fond of the snail on poppy-wonderful color. Bob
Great series! I especially like the last snail photo. Well done.
Fascinating and fantastic series!
Thanks, NaturePic & Linda. Appreciate it.
You had your groove on Allen.... Perhaps you should hang out near the hippyville border more often. I bet if you're nice Douglass and Bill will bring you a tie-dyed shirt to help you blend in....
Thanks William. It was fun.
I think the whole series is great. However I really like macroscape, it looks like an alien. The snails on poppy is my favorite. Nice detail and color.
