I liked the view in #1 because it made me thin k about what the defenders of this fort might have seen as they looked out on their watch. I was able to keep the modern out of it.
#2 gave me the feel of watching for enemies from the sea, even though the ship is different from what would have been seen long ago.
Took these while waiting to depart on a cruise. We had a lot of time to walk around Old San Juan before we departed.

Thanks. I am still very new to photography, but the fort gave me a lot of opportunities to work on my framing and composition.
