I think you flip and maybe invert the reading. The P (Park) then becomes the "6" on the right side. I know my explanation a lot closer than "BOOBS", although if you have to be close to something, being close to BOOBS is a good thing unless BOOBS refers to those of us trying to answer this speedometer poser, then BOOBS isn't so good. Argh!!! This is your fault, Jerry!

When I looked at it again, upside down, it's still 98008.

You are missing the "6" on the right (next mile on the odometer). If you flip that with everything, including the "P" for PARK, the "6" on the right becomes the "P" on the left. The "P" for Park becomes the "6" on the Right. The DOD is a palidrome and doesn't change. I give up. How say you Jerry?

I remember a calculation involving arabs and oil wells and days fighting a war resulting in a number (71077345) and the question: who won the war? When you turned your calculator upside down read shELLOIL (SHELLOIL) on the display. This doesn't work with today's sharp displays, though.

This dispute could be solved with a piece of paper and a pencil. And possibly a mirror. :D
