I recently discovered that birds were building a nest inside a hanging plant on the back of my house. Deciding that this was an opportunity to get some bird shots, I practiced my stealth and photo techniques. I got some shots but nothing to write home about. I now have a new found and profound respect for the need of good reflexes, timing, patience and other things necessary to shoot birds well. So bravo to you and those that do.
