Hi Bushy,

I got my D750 earlier this week and love it. The picture quality is stunning. I got it as a refurb. from B&H for $1775.00. I couldn't afford an expensive lens to get started in FX so I bought a 28-80 3.3 to 5.6. It's non VR but very sharp and only cost $55.00 on eBay used. It's an older lens but highly recommended by Ken Rockwell. In the case of this lens his recommendation was right on! Take care & ...

Good to know the refurbs are available. After excellent experiences with Nikon refurbs, which I consider better than new, this one tops my list if my D800 were to go missing or break down. With my Nikon experience so far the latter may be a long wait.

I'd get it over a replacement D8xx for lighter weight, articulated LCD, two SD cards, and eliminating the worthless remote cable connector of the D8xx.

I use a D5300 for wildlife because it puts 24MP on the DX area vs. 16 for D800 and 10 for D750. Wildlife demands all the magnification you can get.

Why are you answering me, you are not the OP. You are getting pathetically smart assed. Read the OPs post again and answer him bozo.

That's what "reply" is for Bozo. You were saying that it would cost $2,000 to get a decent lens if the OP purchased a ff Nikon. That, Jack, is not true, and that's why I responded to you. Where have you been, under a rock?

You're faulting me for calling him Bozo? This is what I was responding to, MtnMan:

Ok, the guy's not a Bozo. Unhinged, but not a Bozo.

It doesn't help to respond in kind. I'd prefer to think of you as an adult.

why? Well because I am open minded person and I wouldn't mind having something to compare to my wonderful Canon T5i. Some of us would like to try something new to learn about. On simple mined example would be like learning to speak another language or what I did was learn to sign like I did and learn to sign. It can't hurt. Some people live and lean and some just live. I would like to have the new Sony mirror less and a good walk around lens. Just for grins it's not like it will ever happen.
