Thank you for the thumbup, Simon. I wish I had my original eyesight. When I passed my Army Air Force physical on my 18th birthday I had 15/20, which was classed as "eagle eyes." But I shouldn't complain. At age 88 I can still see well enough with glasses to edit my photos and type these posts.

that's what's/what, and turn sixty soon so feel it must be one day
that I will lose the eye's purpose to see but I bet you have
a good chance to shoot more than you will ever know ...
observation of your B/W work makes me say you could consider
B/W digital work as the new you ... (hummm?) 8-)
the way you commanded the subject is still real in you
and your mind is still clicking strong ... go for it man

Never have much trouble getting shots of gulls in flight but the terns are usually a problem. A few days ago, however, they really cooperated.

Summer is here, up here anyway and my time is spent outdoors as probably many of you do too...If you have a few minutes, share your captures....they make UHH what it is.

Got a bout of the flu from somewhere this past week, can you believe it... the flu in the summer time. Oh well I feel so much better today. But did not go anywhere to take photos this past week. Time to head up to the mountains again.

So here are a few mountain wildflowers from a couple of weeks ago.

Gorgeous photos, Lorima! Since those are Alpine blossoms, I'll wish you an Alpine get-well: Gute Besserung!
