Stay as far away from them as possible.
I tried ordering a camera from them, I get an email to call them to complete the order!! Why?
Called and they put high pressure sales on to purchase other items. Also said the charger didn't come with it (thought the add said it did).
Told them to cancel the order and they refused.
Informed them I was calling the credit card company as soon as I hung up about fraudulent charges and false advertising before they finally credited the card. I did call the card company anyway to keep an eye out for a possible charge. Totally unreputable in my opinion.

I read this exact complaint online, over and over. Went with Cameta. Pleased.

From the looks of things, those that say good things about this vendor are their plants on here. Beware -- Bait and Switch artists!

Due to the lack of basis for that statement, I must, based on the same criteria, assume you are a shill for Abe's of Maine, trying their best to claim the title of "King of Ripoffs". And they're catching up. Congratulations.

The manufaturers HAVE to support their dealers.. If they honor grey market then there would be no point in being a dealer. Agian, see my post on automobiles...you can't go to a Chevy Dealer and buy a new Ford or vice-versa... It has to be a Chevy dealer... Now, that is not saying that there are dealers that are both Chevy and Ford, just like there are dealers that are Canon, Nikon, etc. But, you can NOT go to Mexico, Argentina etc and purchase a Ford and expect the dealer in the US or Brittain or where ever to fix it under warranty. Especially since when the Grey market dealer purchased the camera from Jose's camera emporium in Mexico City, the Grey market dealer became the purchaser of record, you are buying a used camera from him.

I don't know of any chev, ford , or other that goes to a grey market dealer, who sells it back to the consumer without a warranty. Even buyers of used cars, still under warranty, still get to use the factory warranty. And yes, grey market does undercut dealers, but why resort to that in the first place? It's not like the product isn't selling. I've never heard of this before except with camera's. (products that have warranties)
