Interesting. What is in any of these salts but NaCl? I don't pick up saltshakers either. Hypertension and from being used to using little added salt I don't need to add any, everything is salty enough now. Sodium is everywhere!
In Poland, Germany, Austria and I'm sure other places, salt is mined from hundreds of feet underground just as they mine coal.(but without the mess and dirt)You can take tours of these salt mines. A mine outside Wroclaw, Poland has a banquet hall complete with polished salt floors and salt crystal chandeliers and lifesize carvings from salt. You can have your wedding there, fully catered, 600 feet underground. So much more interesting than flat table evaporator tables.
(If anyone is interested I'll post some phots from different mines.)
I'll see what I have thats decent then. I wasnt much into photography so the quality may not be the best. Plus I was down in a mine which tend to be a wee bit dark.
I apologize if I've hijacked your post. That wasnt my intention.

When you ask, and it's accepted, it isn't hijacking! S-
Another interesting watch.
My mother got me hooked on real salt.
http://www.realsalt.com/ She gave me a large container that I hid for special dishes. It had an almost sweet taste to it.
I checked the one website and they are selling their salt for $25 a pound and the site noted they are currently sold out of the one pound packages of salt.
