A Being of Light appeared to me while I was strolling in Martian's garden the other night. Angel (he had wings), demon (looked like he had horns, too), or Butterfly-man (not much of a superhero--can't punch his way out of a paper bag--but he has a colorful outfit), could have been anybody.

He said he had a message for the Martian. From Beyond.

"Beyond what," I asked, suspicious. There've been some dubious characters in that garden, and I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. Whipping out my cell phone, I got a snapshot so I'd have something to show the police. I took off the hood of my HazMat suit and demanded to see some I.D.

He laughed. "Just tell Martian that last batch of plutonium we sent isn't stable, and we need it back...There's been one accident already."

Oh great. Bad plutonium. That's terrific. "Yeah, okay, I'll tell him. But who are you?"

The B.O.L. just smiled. "He'll know." So saying, he vanished.

Wow! What gorgeous colours and very interesting story, you must get Martian to remove that plutonium at once. Can't imagine what would happen if all his flowers in the garden decided to riot, it would be electrifying.
Super pp Randy, love it.  :D

Wowsa, I love this image, Randy!

And I'll be anxiously awaiting news from the garden - stay safe!

Thanks, Don. In case you didn't recognize it, this is a hibiscus that got itself processed into the Twilight Zone, lol.

Glad you enjoyed this one, another of my goofy posts, and thanks for your visit and positive comments. Much appreciated!

Thanks, Sylvia, and yes, just what we need--to have all his flowers going off in tiny nuclear explosions. What a mess that would make, to say nothing of the trouble it would stir up with the town, the police, the FBI, Homeland Security, and never mind the American Horticultural Association!

LOL

Thanks for your visit and kind comments, always much appreciated. Glad you liked it, and thanks for those thumbs!

Thanks, Matt. Another strange and unusual photo, from Martian's garden of strange and unusual things, lol. I've met only one of his suppliers, and don't care to do so again!

But that was another story.

Thanks for your visit and kind comment, always appreciated!

Thanks, Linda. One of these days I might post a straight photo with no gags in the intro. Call the cops, because I've been abducted and/or murdered and replaced by a pod person. Or I've gone insane (okay, it's relative, I admit).

Glad you enjoyed this, and if you happen to hear of a nuclear disaster that wipes out a sizeable portion of Plymouth County, it might be Martian's garden and not Pilgrim Nuclear Station that's done it. But we'll keep our fingers crossed...

Thanks for your visit and always for your kind words. I really appreciate them!

Appropriate image to celebrate the upcoming 4th of July, Randy. Perhaps, beneath it all, Martian is just a patriotic cat at heart. Either that or he got his paws on some of that medical marajuana. :D

Thanks, Matt. Laughter is good for the immune system, and it keeps me from taking my photography too seriously. Glad you enjoy it.

Neat!!! Cool!!! Far out!!   .... (yes, I'm old enough to remember those words.... :? )

Tippit just got a text from Martian and went into the shed to check her inventory. She keeps meticulous records of her stock and she calculated a bit of a shortage in the amount. It might be some nocturnal pests pilfering her supply, or she's just miscalculated. I hope it's the latter!!!

If our town starts glowing at night I might get a visit from CSIS....
