Question for Denver area folks -

We will be in Aurora (E-470 and Smokey Hill area) over the 4th and would like to photograph the city's firework display with the city skyline in the pics.
Does anyone know a good location for this?

My daughter tells me these sites have a good view of the skyline but she doesn't know how good they would be for taking pictures of the firework display:
1)Denver Museum of Nature and Science
2)Aurora Dam Road
3)Ruby Hill
4)Sloan's Lake

She mentioned Red Rocks but says that they will probably be so crowded we wouldn't be able to get in.

Any info will be greatly appreciated...

Thank you.

I understand there's a bar somewhere called The Mile High Club.

We live in the area as well and have an unobstructed view of the front range from Pikes Peak nearly all the way north to Fort Collins. Ours is a walk out, so we have a high deck and each 4th for the two years we've lived here, we spend a couple of hours watching around 20 fireworks displays all along the front range. So much fun. So far away, though, that photos are not possible. But fun nonetheless.
