Thanks so much, SC! That was a bit under-exposed and I did quite a bit of editing, especially on the birds. I was expecting them to keep swimming into direct sunshine - but they didn't. However, the water color is real, and I did get to retain that by the under-exposure, so it worked out :)

Now that's what I call dedication, Linda. Wish I had your self-control. Beautiful shots of all, and I just the oil painting effect on the deer. Wonderful work!

Thank you so much, Donna! The oil painting has another layer on top, the hint from Mike Moats: Nik Color Efex detail extractor - not much, and only in certain areas. Will be fun to experiment more with that combo.
Our horrific heat wave is supposed to continue for at least 8 more days. Just unreal. But I did get to see both eaglets flying yesterday! I arrived at 6 a.m. and the first one flew at 6:10. Good timing :)

Very nice set of Critters Linda...interesting to see. Crikey...it's is really hot there. We've been in the upper 90's most of last week, but rain finally came and cooled things off..Phew, we are thankful.
