Has anyone got real world experience with this lens on canon f.f or crop bodies.
Could not find much on search here. My current wides are 17-40l 17-35 2.8 and 10 - 18 stm. The stm is great on the 70d but I'd like to see if the tamron is an improvement on F.F over my current lens.

It's an amazing lens, no distortion and as sharp as they come.

I just got one last week. Haven't add much time to play with it, weather permitting I'll give it a run this weekend. So far, I like the lens.

I shoot a Nikon D800 and was going to buy one, but decided on the Nikon 14-24 instead. Everything I see on YouTube or read about them online, raves about how fantastic this lens is in every regard. I chose the Nikon because I got a deal on a refurbished lens directly from Nikon, but the Tamron really looks like a winner.
I'd buy it !

That was my other option, buy a refurbished Nikon 14-24. When they show up onsite, they don't last long.
