about 80 feet down in the gulley is one lone lily i can't get near but this evening the sunlight found a way through the leaves and i just had to shoot it anyway.

(please excuse the polka dots, they come with the lens)

it was the only thing lit up in the whole woods.
Using a handheld 600mm lens and cropped 4:1 didn't leave much for quality but the little flower was trying so hard to be noticed that i couldn't ignore it.

Poor little thing deserved better, so i stacked it.
Not something one would ordinarily do with a 600mm lens but it improved the flower quite a bit.

Sometimes we come upon a scene that is just begging to be photographed. This is one of those scenes and you did a great job under trying conditions. Suspect you made that poor lonely lily's entire day! :)
