Yes---Flowers everywhere up in the higher country...If you have never hiked the 3 miles around the Naches Peak Trail, I know that you would love it. Not only the flowers, but views of surrounding mountains and meadows, a zillion wildflowers of course, and looking down into Dewey Lake..And, beautiful views of Mt Rainier...Here's a shot of Dewey Lake..Thanks Linda

Beautiful shots, but I am intrigued by what the flower is that you are showing the seed heads in the first shot. I love the tails of the seeds and how they intertwine.

It is called the western pasque flower. The first stage is a
yellow bloom, then it grows the long stem, and goes into the hairy looking tall flower. Here's a pic of the beginning.
My spelling may be wrong (pasque)...?

Beautiful flower - kind of looks like a cross between a daffodil and something else. I really like the hairy looking seed stage though.

Very nice photos. Nothing like the Pacific Northwest for capturing beautiful scenery.
