I recently noticed that I have a new album on my Flickr site called "Auto Upload". The only place I have a Flickr app is on my phone. I sometimes access Flickr from my laptop. Does anyone know where this automatic upload is originating and how to turn it off. It seems to have uploaded some images that 1) were already uploaded or 2) were silly phone shots that I don't want uploaded to share.
Having similar problem with the iCloud. Somewhere I got to automatically saving stuff in the cloud, and now the account is full. I keep getting advice to log on and purchase new storage capacity, which I do not want to do. Seems this started with a recent update of the OS or iOS. Where do I turn it off?
Thanks.
That is a new feature in the phone app. You can turn it off from the settings in the phone app.

In addition to this problem, once these photos fill up your phone, is there an easy way to select-batch-delete them? I've only been able to "select" one at a time & then delete

You can individually turn iCloud photo saving ON/OFF on your devices. If you really want to stop it you have to turn it off on all of them.
On the iPhone or iPad, go to
Settings -> Photos & Camera
and turn off
"iCloud Photo Library".
On the Mac (Yosemite) there appear to be two methods to get to the "iCloud Photo Library" ON/OFF button
(1) Open Photos
Photos -> Preferences -> iCloud
(2) System Preferences -> iCloud -> Photos -> Options
Hope that helps.
