I shot this while it was still a little blue outside and since I'm not yet familiar with the controls (220-page manual) I tried aperture and shutter priorities for my shots. This is the best I got - and I'm almost embarrassed to say - looks as good or better than my A77 (but the Panasonic has more reach, so that might be the difference) #1 is cropped, but SOOC. #2 is the same image, but slightly adjusted (lighting/sharpening) I'll go out in a few minutes and see if I can get some better shots. Hand-held. F/2.8, ISO 100, 1/800 sec.
Dose the FZ200 have the multi-shot blend that my ZS30 had. A warning would pop up "Hand Held multi frames will be taken" the camera then overlapped the multi frames to improve image quality and reduce noise .... amazing... Galileo where are you... you would be amazed.

A lot of noise in #2 and #3.

They were a bit dark. I had to add fill light, so that's probably the problem. I got the camera maybe a few weeks ago, but it was used, I'm still experimenting with it, I haven't gotten a strap for it yet (didn't come with one and am afraid to drop it) and I've only gotten a little way through the manual. I bought it for my trip next year to Israel...due to baggage restrictions I don't feel it's the best use of weight and space to take 5-6 lbs of DSLR equipment. I hope I don't regret it...I've still haven't tried all the things my A77 can do yet. Funny thing is, I can hold the LUMIX steadier than my Sony with a 70-300, probably because it's so much lighter. I plan to buy a tripod today (if it's still available) used from B&H. That'll help with night, pano, and long exposure shots. the first pic I took with it that I posted of a lily looked pretty nice.
