Today was sunny when I took a shot of this Sparrow with a grasshopper to feed it's young family nearby.

Very nice... Crisp and clear... Usually the pictures I take like this are thru a window. Guess I'll have to take the time to find a place to relax and wait for such an opportunity. Thanks for the posting...

Remarkable detail and color,Reg. Sparrows are not very big and interesting to me that the grasshopper was the meal d'jour!

Thank you, CarlySue. That grasshopper was given to the baby sparrows just after this shot. In some countries, the grasshoppers are a delicious meal. Yuk.
