Don't Lose Your Pictures

You go on a great vacation and take 10,000 pictures. Then you lose them. Don't let that happen to you.

Thanks for the article ,jerry, I really predict up to 70 % of all photos taken today will now be lost in the next 5-10 years, due to cell phone photos , ever increasing technology, (will JPEG ,raw, tiff ) even exist as we know it and the fact most folks will not know how to get those photos off their old computor, and yes hard drive failure, from age,lightning , power surges..
Back up often and with multiple sources.

I think 80% of those taken today should be lost. :D

Jerry, are you turning into a sadist? I hope not. Just the mention of losing ones pictures is enough to give one nightmares.
BTW I am only concerned with my KEEPERS. About 1 out of 25.

Right. It's the keepers that count. I have trouble getting rid of the junk, though. I'm always afraid that I'll do a backup and backup bad files onto my external drives.
