Did one of my favorite things Sunday. The hubby and I made a trip to Ashland Ohio for the Antique truck show.
Rain was forecasted the whole weekend. I had planned on going since the first of the year. No rain was stopping me. They had rain over the weekend. So some of the trucks left. But I went down there to watch the truck pull. That is so awesome, but Mother Nature made sure that did not happen. But I got to see some awesome trucks. It was a nice day. And had a great time!
Hope you enjoy them. I know I sure did.
This was on the back cab of one of the rigs Had to share it
Wish this old Dodge Power Wagon was mine!
This old truck was awesome. It was running at the time I took this.
She was just beautiful an old Mack
AN old General Motors. Another beauty
Another old Mack. I just love the old Macks!
What fun!
That image of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial is very special. I have had the privilege of visiting the memorial and it is a hugely emotional experience.

I am glad the weather gave you a break and you made it down there and Back ok. I remember the old macks from my early childhood and having to cross Roosevelt Rd in Forest Park, IL.

Thanks for looking Linda. I saw that and knew I had to take a picture. The picture does not do it justice.
I have seen the traveling wall twice. It is a must see. And yes I could just stand and cry.

Thanks for looking Mare. Yes we got very lucky with the weather. Glad you liked them.
I think the old Macks are so cool. I would have hopped in one and gone for a ride if I had been asked. Would have told Bill see you later, to find a spot sit and stay!!!

Great set Mary and so glad you had a good time there. I do like no 1 with its message... Shame there was no truck pull as the pictures would have been interesting to see as we do not have them over here, if we do I have not heard of them... :D :D
Great set..... 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 applause and thanks for posting the mural on the first one!
Enjoyed these, Mary. A strong message to take to heart in that first one. But you caught some beauties here.
Keep on truckin'!

Thanks for looking Val. Glad you liked them. I loved the first one too. It meant a lot. Check out my post a couple of years back Title: Big Mack. There a couple of pictures that will show you what the truck pull is.
