Great shots! Going there myself in mid-July with my wife as part a 40th anniversary trip! Hope I can match your results.

Looks like the roads followed cow trails as this is how they usually move, in a serpentine fashion.

I live on the bay shore three houses from Door County. If you want to take scenic pictures, this is the place to go. There are quite a few light houses on the Door peninsula. There are quite a few parks to visit as well as restaurants and other tourist shops etc. Come and visit, you will enjoy it.

That was almost where we went on vacation this year. I think it will be next year's trip.

In the 90's we spent a couple days in Door County during a trip to Yellowstone in our Winnebago. WE stopped at the restaurant with the goat on the roof for lunch and the Fish Boil for supper. I have been to Lobster Boils in Maine and NH, but never to a Fish Boil. I was amazed at how they got rid of the floating debris, at the end, before removing the fish. The fish was delicious and the strawberry pie really hit the spot for desert, also. Door County doesn't get much publicity in New England, but it is a beautiful area. I wish we could have spent a couple weeks there, instead of a couple days. Thank you both for the memories.
