I have a Canon EOS Rebel T3/ll00D, the lenses that came with it are a
18-55mm and a 75-300mm. I want to get a lense that will serve as an all-round lense , so i don't have to change lenses... any suggestion?
Sigma 18-300, it's the sharpest of all the similar lenses I have tested.

I had a Rebel with the same lens combination you have and reached the same conclusion you did, but I bought a Tamron 18-270mm ... and I was disappointed.

Maybe it was just because the Sigma is better as
MT Shooter says, but the concept of a "walking-around" lens may be an enticing illusion (caused by SX-50 envy?). In most cases, I found that I already knew which lens I needed, so I didn't gain anything other than mass by lugging that thing around with me.
But that was just my experience. I think you should hear from the experience of others before you plunk down $579 (current price at B&H) for that lens.

I think one of the best walk around Canon lens is the 24 - 105 mm f4 L. Some consider it a kit lens maybe it is but so what it works for me and it sharp.

Can't do much better than a Canon 24-105mm

I have both a Sigma 18-300 and 18-200 Macro. Both are very sharp especially for superzoom lenses (aka all-in-one lenses). I'm very happy with both of them. All-in-ones are not as sharp as using two or three lower ratio zooms, but many find them to be more than sharp enough. Others don't.
Also worth considering are the Sigma 18-250 Macro, Tamron 16-300, and Tamron 18-270 VC PZD.
IMO, the Sigma 18-300 is the best of all of them, and the Sigma 18-250 Macro is the best buy at $349.
I have the Sigma 18-300 after looking into the Nikon and Tamron similar offerings for my Nikon bodies. MT recommended it and he was right, not worth the extra $400 for the Nikon. Great walking around lens, almost never comes off of the camera. And you can get a $60 USB dock that lets you fine tune 4 different focal lengths, if your camera doesn't have micro-adjusting capability built-in. About $600, it rocks. I had the Sigma 18-250 before, about $350 new and it's fine, but nowhere near as good as the 18-300. Good luck.
I think it depends on what you generally shoot. I like tightly framed subjects and find that, for most of what I do, my 70-300L is my go-to lens.

The best walk around lens is the one between your shoulders

I don't own Canon equipment but have heard great things about the Canon 24-105mm f/4 L lens and seen a number of Canon shooters in classes I have taken with that lens. MTShooter's recommendation on the Sigma should also not go unheard. So now you have some choices. Good luck!
I too have the Sigma 18-300mm lens. I'm very happy with it. I decided to purchase it after I miss a few shots in Yellowstone trying to change lenses.
I use a Tamron 28-300mm that serves me very well. I have 2 Pentax DSLR's.
Good Luck!
