well kind of little.
These less than 1/3mm varmints hatch on my ceiling and then drop down and swing on their threads between me and my monitor. They move too fast to stack, crumple up when dead and have eluded me for a year.
Finally got this one at 4:1 with the MP-E, and turned frame rightside up for easier viewing.
Had no idea they had any color at all till i saw the final image.
Lighting was backlit by monitor and front lit by a sheet of typing paper in my hand.
Focusing was a lick and a prayer.
Colors are very nice on this spider. Looking at the camera settings and illumination setting well done Ron.

Tried to stack him but scared him off. The stack would have worked judging from this frame.
Would have been a cool stack if you pulled it off. Definitely, one to try again when the opportunity arises...
1/3-mm? That is microscopic.

Held a micrometer up to one swinger and got him between the jaws. At .411mm he still had plenty of room to move around and escaped unharmed. They are so darned fragile at this size.

We will compromise: I saw a glint of web in the evening sun coming through the patio door.
Investigation disclosed a 'spiny something' that looks as though it might hold still for a stack tomorrow.
