New (old) Levittown Photographer

I came upon this site in April and I love it! Joined in May! My photography started at age 8 with a Kodak Instamatic, grew into a full manual Mamiya slr then in 1973 into a Minolta SRT 101 (through 2004). When my dad died, I got his 2 Nikon n8008s's and 3 nikon lenses so it was in the stars to get a Nikon dslr when I was ready. Current camera is Nikon D90 and I love it! Attached photo is Hohensaltzburg in 1973: Kodachrome 64, 50mm F1.7, 2 sec shot. Got an Honorable mention in 1978 in a national Kodak contest.

Welcome to UHH daeod, glad you joined us. That is a wonderful post, keep them coming. I also shoot Nikon, the D7100, my brother shoots the D90. Still have my old Nikon F 35mm film cameras, don't want to part with them.
