Welcome to Day 84 :) .. It's the first saturday of spring... Hopefully the weather is great everywhere and we can all get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine.
Today we are going to take a look at another part of photographic composition .... Triangles. The technique involves composing an image in such a way that three
objects form the points of the triangle. Then invisible, diagonal lines connect the three points drawing the viewer's eyes from one to the other.
Here are a few examples to get us started. I look forward to see the triangles that make up your world.
@Photogrl57: I have a bird feeder just like yours in the last photo. Only mine is clear so you can see the level of the birdseed. Here are some of my "triangle" shots too. I'm not sure if I've 'edited' these or not.
~~ Stopping by for a snack ~~
~~ House Finch on the wire ~~
~~ Where Feathered Friends Gather~~
~~ Wedding Cake ~~ [almost a triangle shape]
I'll be scarce today, big things going on......from noon on...

My friend is building a no-nail Scandinavian house

The bodies of these two Blue Jays form a triangle. the top point is formed by their two heads overlapping and their backs and tails create the sides of the triangle. Yay spring!
a fun challenge today, but then they all are fun!
Road runner.. those three triangles created by the crane sure fit the challenge! A great triangular composition to get the day started!

It was one of those ''glad I had my camera with me'' things. On the waterfront in Portsmouth VA those hot hazy summer suns rise over a floating drydock in Norfolk. There is a small shed called Starboard's that serves coffee, so I get my coffee and wander the waterfront, must have a hundred or so pics from there. Sunrises are amazing.

Aren't the jays there all winter?
Yes RR, Blue Jays are here all year round. These three Hooded Mergansers were newly arrived this spring just this week. Their bodies create the points of a triangle. you can join the points in your imagination.
